Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

General Capabilities

What types of CNC machining services does EMR Manufacturing provide? EMR Manufacturing specializes in advanced 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC milling and high-precision CNC turning. We focus on complex, high-tolerance components for mission-critical industries like Aerospace, Pharmaceutical, and Motorsports.

Where is EMR Manufacturing located? Our precision machine shop is located in Noble, Oklahoma, and we serve the Greater Oklahoma City (OKC) metro area as well as industrial clients nationwide across the United States.

What machine brands does EMR utilize for 5-axis work? We utilize state-of-the-art DN Solutions (formerly Doosan) DVF 5000 and DVF 4000 5-axis machining centers to handle complex geometries and minimize setup times for our clients.

Industry-Specific Questions

Can EMR Manufacturing produce parts for the pharmaceutical and food industries? Yes. We specialize in sanitary design and high-purity machining. We utilize 316L Stainless Steel, Titanium, and medical-grade polymers (PEEK/PTFE) to meet USDA/FDA compliance and facilitate CIP/SIP (Clean-In-Place) sterilization processes.

Does EMR offer machining for high-performance motorsports? Absolutely. We provide billet aluminum 7075-T6 and Chromoly steel machining for professional racing and automotive aftermarket innovators. Our 5-axis capabilities allow for aggressive weight reduction (lightweighting) without compromising structural integrity.

Can you machine flight-critical aerospace components? Yes. Our facility is optimized for the Aerospace & Defense sectors, machining complex structural brackets and fuel manifolds from solid billets of Titanium, 7075 Aluminum, and Inconel.

Quality & Technical Specs

What kind of tolerances can EMR Manufacturing achieve? We consistently achieve high-precision tolerances of ±0.0005” or better, depending on the material and geometry of the part.

How does EMR ensure part quality and accuracy? Quality is verified using advanced metrology, including Keyence and Numarex CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines). We provide full traceability and can meet specific Ra surface finish requirements for pharmaceutical and medical applications.

What file formats do you accept for quoting? We prefer 3D CAD files in .STEP, .IGS, or SolidWorks (.SLDPRT) formats. For quoting accuracy, we also recommend providing a 2D PDF drawing detailing critical tolerances and thread specs.
